100 Themes Challenge

I'm now a member of a group on DA, a challenger of the 100 themes. There are 100 themes. You write 100 poems which use each theme once. I'm starting outn it, but won't really get to writing for a while.

Creative splurge: Finished! Re-titled: Sing it

Well, I've not got much on one so far. It looks nice to me, though.
----------------------------
Well, it's finished now, and up on my Deviantart account.

So sing me that song,
now give me that beat,
and as the night goes on,
the music's moving your feet.

I'm singing my song,
Pumping out the beat,
My heart's beating along
With those sounds so sweet.

We don't need anything
But what's in our hearts,
When we just want to sing,
As the music starts.

My heart is pumping,
As my adrenaline surges,
The music's thumping,
Satisfying the soul's urges.

For tonight, we're free,
The world? We're on top!
We're who we want to be,
And we don't want to stop.

So we're singing to that song,
Stomping out the beat with feet,
As the night goes on so long,
The music's moving our feet.

----------------------------------------
Ah, I love the sounds of a sweet melody...

An Ode to Writers Block

http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/57236226/

The above is the link to where it's hosted.
Below is the poem.

An Ode to Writers Block

The words won't come,
Let 'em have their way!
There's nothing worse for a Writer
Than Writer's block, I say!

Scribbling in my notebook,
Devising Rhyme and Meter,
Yet sometimes I get stuck,
And it just doesn't work.

But then I realize; All along,
I had my inspiration.
I don't know if it's right or wrong,
I just wanted to make a Deviation!

Where Do I Host my Work?

I put up my works on a Deviantarrt page, which holds much of my writing. I am including a link.

Writing The Distance

It's always been my dream to work as a writer, and now, I'm graduating from high school, and am ready to take another step towards my goal. This blog has been made to chronicle my writing, and to follow my activities.

Here's to my future.
Cheers,
~Joeker
